Miramonte Cross Country-OLD

Here is the info for running camp. Please get your permission slips (in an attachment to follow this one) and checks in as soon as you can. This is an amazing week of running and team bonding up in the mountains near Donner. This is a great way to finish a summer of solid running, kick off the start of a new cross country season, and a time to set personal and team goals for the season.

Our Varsity Boys took 18th at State yesterday at Woodward Park in Fresno. Division III is heavy with competition and the boys raced their hardest out there.

Our team banquet is on Tuesday, December 2nd from 6-9pm in the school cafeteria. We hope to see you then!

The NCS conditions were a repeat of two years ago with heavy rain, mud and tough conditions. Our boys ran the second race of the day at 9am, coming in 4th to qualify for State (top 5 qualify). The girls were the fourth race of the day at 10:05am, coming in 5th, just missing a State berth by one team. Both boys and girls gave their all out there on the challenging 3-mile course.
The boys leave on Friday, November 28th to head to Fresno for the State meet on Saturday, November 29th. They will run at 9am.

Sorry for the delay in sending out the DFAL results from last Saturday. Below is the team score recap as well as the link to the full results. Like the DFAL league meets, the Frosh/Soph and JV ran 2 miles and Varsity ran 3 miles.
Next race is NCS at Hayward High School on Saturday, 11/22. This is the qualifying meet for State on 11/29.
